LecturesThe Guild is proud to host lectures featuring prominent figures in the glass community. Every year, we invite the Juror from our Annual Juried Exhibition to host an artists talk during the show. We also host other lectures sporadically, so keep an eye on the newsletter!

WorkshopsThe Guild has hosted all kinds of workshops over the years. We've had guest artists come in for special workshops, such as Susan Taylor Glasgow's "It's Not a Chandelier, It's a Lighted Sculpture" . Sometimes our Annual Public Art Donations have public workshops as a component. We've also had Guild members host topical workshops, like portfolio photography or painting and assembling pedestals for shows.

Private ToursGuild Members sometimes have the opportunity to take private tours of art museums, art centers, studios, or workshops. For the past few years, the Pinkhams have been gracious enough to host our final meeting of the year, and give tours of their collection and studio after the meeting.

Guild outingsSometimes, our Guild members like to get together as a group for events we don't host. One great example is the outings we had before some Guild members meeting. Sometimes we see shows together, such as a Third Thursday performance at the Chrysler Hot Shop. Or, for example, one of our members Matthew Fine directed a movie on view at MOCA. We update our newsletter and social media with upcoming events that you may want to join us for.
