For 30 years, The Virginia Glass Guild has been supporting local arts and communities.​​

• Dec. 2019 The guild held a special fusing workshop to raise money for PFAC's educational glass programming. The workshop participants created 190 fused glass pendants, and we raised $950 for glass education.
• May 2019 The guild held a special fusing workshop to raise money for PFAC's educational glass programming. The workshop participants created 111 fused glass pendants, and we raised  $555 for glass education.
• Nov. 2019 The guild held a special fusing workshop to raise money for MOCA's educational glass programming. The workshop participants created 106 fused glass pendants, and we raised  $530 for glass education.
• Dec. 2018 The guild held a special fusing workshop to raise money for MOCA's educational glass programming. The workshop participants created 76 fused glass pendants, and we raised $380 for glass education.
• May 2018 The guild held a special fusing workshop to raise money for MOCA's educational glass programming. The workshop participants created 74 fused glass pendants, and we raised  $370 for glass education.
• January 2018  The Guild donated over $500 in glass art supplies to the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Arts.
• March 2017 & 2018  Virginia Glass Guild members donated about 75 glass bowls to the Empty Bowls VA Peninsula event benefiting Hampton Roads Food Bank.
• June 2016 The Guild and 50 creative children completed a  4' x 4' fused glass mural in the  Children's Museum in Virginia, located in Portsmouth. Guild members taught children about glass art, and helped them connect by finding inspiration in the Museum.
• September 2014 The Guild donated the Jewel of Chesapeake. The Heron became a two year project and a collaborative effort between Guild members. The blue glass heron stands tall and proud, welcoming those who enter the City Hall in Chesapeake VA .​

Past works include donations to the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art, the Empty Bowls Project, The Children's Museum of Virginia, the city of Chesapeake, The Chrysler Museum, The American Theater, Newport News SPCA, the Virginia Living Museum, The Charles H. Taylor Arts Center, the Yorktown Victory Center, the Virginia Medical Center in Richmond, the Virginia Air and Space Center in Hampton, Shelton on the Bay (an Adult Home), the CANDII House, Norfolk, the Holocaust Museum in Richmond, and the Norfolk Botanical Gardens.
